I keep a couple wedged under the pick guard of my electrics. I did the tape thing like Schmange when I used to play in bands.

I have a funky container that some sort of prescription pill samples came in that I keep picks in - or try to anyway. Seems like whenever I buy a bunch of picks, they get sown around the house like seeds. Perhaps one day a pick tree will sprout...
