For me it started with James Brown, that's when I first heard "ughh", and I liked it, it made me feel good so I walked around singing "ughh, I feel good".
A month later I heard JB singing my song, only he changed it to "hey, I feel good".
That was my tune, same thing with the Beatles, "I want to hold your Hand" that was mine.
Layla was about my fantasy girl not Erics.
