Yeah, it took me a while to get used to the names and words, but being fluent in Spanish has actually been a help here as many of the pronouncings are much the same.

Yeah, Punalu'u and Kahuku is probably my most favorite places on the island. I have a friend that has a place in the Green Valley by the Punalu'u beach houses on Kam highway, many of those mountains, I have been to the top of, done the stairway to heaven over in the Haiku valley. That in itself is a complete thread...

Kahuku has the most deserted and longest beach I have ever seen. I have been on it at 9 in the morning, by myself, a guitar tuned to slack key, and if it wasn't for the guitar, it would have been a thousand years ago....;-) This is indeed an awesome place to live.
