Lol, I aint complaining about chrome! Either way im happy cause yes, it is a great deal. Just wasn't sure if it was the "same" guitar because ive never seen one with chrome hardware on any of the videos and demos. Plus, I'm a guitar noob so I dont know much about differences in these things.. This will be my second guitar.. Took lessons for a month and didnt have time but now I'm gettin back into it so I thought I could upgrade a little over what I had before. I am very passionate about music; I play piano and alto saxaphone and cant wait to get serious about guitar!! Grant |

Ok, here's your answer, the first guitar pictured has chrome or nickel covered pickups. The camera angle makes it look like one is black, one is chrome. Easy. Now the other, those are gold plated pickup covers to match the remainder of the gold hardware on the guitar. Being a Shecter, I would assume the gold plating to last about 2 yrs. until it begins to wear off and turn a steel gray, which is what they are under the plating. Hows that??

Blemished items are just minor cosmetic flaws. They sell a little cheaper because a minor ding or somethig happened at some point. Some are returns from customers... All in all everything is hooked in the same, you just might have a scratch or a ding somewhere. If you can live with that, please... Do enjoy that stellar instrument.

I just got the guitar today.. Wow is all I can say! I'm a guitar noobie but this thing sure can make some nice sounds, it appears brand new no scratches and it was made in 2009! I only have one issue.. Earlier today I was playin and the strings felt great and all but somehow tonight one of the strings bumped out of place on the bride so I just pulled it and placed it back into the dead center of the little holder.. While doing this I also noticed two other strings wernt held at the center point at the bridge so I moved them to the center.. After doing so I retuned the guitar with a digital tuner but the strings seem very tense and tight now. Idk if its just me but they seem tight as hell now. I'm a guitar noob so I don't know much about the technicalities of guitar lol. Any help would be great, Thanks Grant |
