Photobucket

Not really a "site problem" I know....but a technical one.

So I tried signing up for photobucket for the third time in two days and when I hit the "sign up" button it invariably goes to an error page, doesn't matter what path I take I end up at the same page.

I've tried this from home and at a wifi hotspot at work, I'm using a MacBook Air.

Anybody else have this problem? and more importantly can you help me find a solution ;)

Thanks in advance.

Is this the URL you are trying to access? https://secure.photobucket.com/register

It works for me.

I've managed to sign up for photobucket but for some stupid reason can't post a pic.....

Yes, and it takes me here. https://secure.photobucket.com/register (an error page on my end...maybe it's a Canada thing?)

I dunno, I've been using Photobucket from Canada for 10 years. Maybe your browser has some extra security settings going on?

That's my first thought. I'm not familiar with Mac OS but I'd look through their equivalent of what Windows has in the CP as Internet Settings.

There is a cache bug in the latest version of Safari that is causing a lot of sites to break. You can try clicking on "Safari->Clear History and Website Data ..." first and see if that fixes it. Or you can download the Chrome browser from Google and try that or Firefox if you prefer, but Google Chrome is the most secure browser and I've found it to be the most reliable browser for me. I still prefer Safari, looks much better and is the fastest browser around. I always keep all three installed and use them for different things, i.e. use Chrome on sites and stuff you don't trust.

I've had some weirdness on photo bucket recently with Safari as well.

I'll try chrome later, thanks BDB.

postimg.org is very easy to use. The Windows app is lightweight and slick as goose ... waste.

Incredibly easy to just grab a region of your display, stick it on postimg and have link for a forum in no time!

Thanks...who needs photo bucket anyways :p
