Thought some of you guys might get a kick outa these. One is a home demo of Billie Jean before the lyrics were written. (a good indication of how lyrics are made up when writing a song.... just sing nonsense words and figure out the lyrics later) The second is the original recording of the voiceover for Thriller. There may be some copyright questions here so I won't leave em up too long. http://s93744050.onlinehome.us/BillieJeanHomeDemo.mp3 http://s93744050.onlinehome.us/ThrillerVoiceOver.mp3 |

Vincent Price was the best.

Interesting stuff. I like this version of Billie Jean better. Vincent Price was such a great actor with such a creepy voice. With all of the movies he has done, he will forever be known for his greatest work: the voice over on Thriller. And that is not a bad thing either. Vincent used to say he never knew what people found so creepy about his voice; he thought he sounded just like everyone else from St. Louis, Mo. I have lived in the St Louis area all my life and no one sounds like him.

Yeah, and his towering stature really added to it too.

That was pretty cool.... There was a lot more words for Thriller there than they used in the song... they cut out a bit in the middle. Pretty neat though.

That, they may be Jolly, but..... There are some songs, I could hear a thousand times (and have) and still like them, however if I hear another fucking Michael Jackson song again this year it will be too soon. This week just MJ'd me right out, and I never want to hear Thriller ever again. I have grown to hate that song.
