I am not familiar with the pocket pod, I have a toneport by line 6. But honestly I think the whole debacle with the software and such was under the pretense that you were able to use USB. If you are using the Pocketpods 1/8" output, then you may not even need line 6 software unless you are able to use farmpod, or gearbox (which is pretty much the best modeling amp ever). ( need another opinion on this)
Getting off on a tangent though. This is why I don't use Linux and neither should anyone else. I ran Ubuntu before and it was awesome but you run into problems like this. Point is that if you want the happy ending you have to do the dance. |
