I was looking through some stuff on the net and happened to stumble across this wavepad. So I said what the heck my trial for reaper just ran out and I hate Audacity so why not give it a shot. It's 10x better than Audacity! It has around the same amount of effects and stuff but it sounds better IMO. Audacity gets a little fuzzy to me. I think its best to record it on the wavepad one then put it on audacity and edit it. The wavepad one also has a file converter which is awesome because I can never get that lame lame encoder thing to work on Audacity. It came with more stuff that I haven't used yet but will eventually.

audacity is simple for me to use. I just export songs as .wav files and then send them through zamzar.com into mp3's. when u say fuzziness do u mean the crackling, if you dont lower the sound level and the waves hit the top or bottom of the space where it shows that you are recording, it crackles a bunch...

Yeah, I know turning the volume down makes it clearer. I meant it records it with less clarity. Everything I've posted today is using the wavepad recorder. Something about it sounds better to me. I wish i still had reaper though. It was awesome!

completely delete reaper off your computer and re install the trial..usually works for trials

Is that allowed? Idunno i didn't read the terms or anything so I didn't want to try it annd it be illegal lol.

Reaper is free to trial beyond the 30 day period. It is frowned upon if you keep using it beyond that but TBH the Reaper dudes will only sic their lawyers on ya if you start making money with Reaper recorded songs and haven't bought a licence. It says when you first start it up that it remains fully functioning beryond 30 days.....
