I think we all hit a wall sooner or later. I'll always LOVE it, but the importance of music in my daily life waxes and wanes. I'm more a songwriter than guitarist really. Sometimes I can go months without really hearing from "the muse," but when she DOES call, that bitch is insane and can't shut the hell up, lol. She gets me in the shower, on the drive to work, any old time I don't have a guitar handy!!!

I don't know man. One thing I have learned is you can plug away through a practice routine every day to keep from getting rusty. But you can't force it. You can't MAKE yourself be enthusiastic about it. I'm sure you'll get that old sparkle back at some point.
