Hi welcome in. I've bought many items from Sweetwater and have always been happy with them. They offer great financing and quick shipping. Happy shopping!

Welcome!

Play something at a local store before you online order, or maybe you have already & know what you want.....

Welcome! Ask around here for which guitar you should buy to start out. You'll get 57 different answers and still not know which one to buy.

My recommendation is go to a music store and ding around with a few, see how they 'feel', then if you can find the same one online cheaper, order it
My guitar I might not have thought to pick online (if there was such as thing as 'online' back in the 80's lol) but once I played in the store and it played as easy and nice as a really expensive Les Paul, I knew it was the one.

Welcome in .

Yeah, I can't tell you how many times I've walked into the guitar store and walked out with something completely different from what I thought I wanted...or walked out because I was unimpressed and found no alternative.

Sweetwater does take returns...BUT if you are returning it just because it isn't your cup of tea, you have to pay return shipping AND for the initial free shipping. I've done a lot of business with them and I like them, but just keep that part in mind.

Go to a music store and take a guitarist with you. As a newbie, you'll need all the help you can get. Welcome to the forum.

I just returned a pedal and I thought they would deduct the initial shipping charges but they did not. Maybe I just got lucky?
