Anyway check em all out or whatever takes your fancy, but just remember its his birthday so all hail the godfather of punk. Happy birthday Iggy.

Excellent as always OGD. I know that Iggy is your main man and you play his stuff so well so hopefully I'm doing him justice.

Absolutely you did it justice. I much prefer your far more melodic Wah solo to mine, I had no idea what I was doing...

Nice job on S&D Dad - That's an insanely fun song to play! I can tell you're totally getting into it.

CBS Evening News used The Passenger for their music bed that night. Never thought I'd hear that on the nightly news ...

Only saw him once, warming up for the Stones around 78, unfortunately good boo'ed off the stage badly and lasted only 15 minutes or so. Santana was there also and got a great reception, I think old Iggy was just far out of his element among Stones fans, and the only reason they tried it was the home town thing.

his dad was a shop teacher at my high school, any mention of Iggy sent him off in a foul rant. Don't know if it was rumor or fact but when I heard he threw up on the front row crowd I passed at going to any of his shows.

Cheers Nat, yes the LP and Mesa combo with just the right amount of distortion and compression makes for a very heady cocktail of sonic pleasure... not for the feint hearted when you stand in front of it at full roar. LOL!
