Default Conundrum with octave fuzz and wah

The placement of these is starting to fry my leftover brain cells. The of fuzz has a switch to engage octave( love that) but it sounds very tinny going into wah engaged and not very pronounced after wah. The fuzz part works great either way. My query is there a way to fix this or should I look for another octave like device that works with wah? It's soully for experimentation so any answers I'd appreciate

If you like the sound of the fuzz that you have could it maybe be the wah that needs changing?...

Which wah do you have?

I use a CryBaby 535q which I can easily recommend since you're able to dial in the sound of it allot more than most wahs, at least that I know of...

That ibanez looks to have some similar function to the 535Q have you tried dialling something in with it to adjust for "tinny" sound, a wider Q and maybe a lower range could round it out a bit...

I generally put my wah before any kind of fuzz or overdrive; just my preference. I assume we're talking about an octave up? If the octave fuzz has a tone knob try cutting it. If the wah has an adjustment to the sweep range of the pedal set it for a narrower sweep, or set it to be less top-focused in general if at all possible.
