Your mistake is understandable, and so is the advice to take it back and either get a refund, or study a bit and make a decision on a dedicated guitar or dedicated bass amp.

Rogue is the bottom row of the bottom rows of gear. You can do better for your money with a little research into watts, features, size, weight. Understanding that you are a beginner, it pays YOU to do some research and not get taken by some sales guy in a GC. He doesn't care what tone or performance you get and you are a stranger as soon as you tote it out the door.
