Default Determening age of this Epiphone Dot

hey guys,
i borrowed this guitar from a friend of mine to see if it fits me.
he told me his dad bought it quite some time ago, it is a pretty old guitar.
im kinda interested to know how old approximately, because its a great guitar.
it doesnt have a serial numer (anymore?) on the sticker inside the F-hole (see pictures) so i cant check that, anyone knows where to look for?

Check for a stamp on the back of the headstock. You might get a serial number on the backs of the pickups.

The Epiphone DOT was introduced in 1997. You can buy a used one in really good condition for about $300. A new one for a bit over $400.

Find the serial number, then use this site to determine the date of manufacture:

As PKV pointed out, they aren't expensive guitars, but most owners really like them, including me. I have a 2008 Dot. They're a very good guitar for the money.
