Here's the YT link, but it's still rendering. It'll be done, when it's done.

Haha...I just did. Who knew this was the one forum left where you could actually delete your own post.

I saw your post about your video needing more rendering time and I posted something about it being a forum problem and not a YouTube problem and was going to show you that a direct link does work.

Before I pressed the button I looked up and your video was then working so my post was meaningless.

Fill must be playing his new LP, or hunting down UPS drivers.

Haha!! Yeah, it came last night around 7pm. Tracking number didnt show a DAMN thing all day, and suddenly the UPS guy just knocked on my door.
UPS got their fair share of pissed off phone calls yesterday though.

Ill post pics in a "NP90GD" thread later. Im heading out to Orlando in about 5 minutes to pick up my sister in law.

Check out Musician's Friend. They may still have a sale going for up to 20%.

I think people will be ASTOUNDED at what I paid for mine. It's fantastic, stock. Can't to get Fill's pups into it.

It's king of shocking at how low a price you can sometimes get on a guitar that can be set up to play very well. It makes you wonder what are we actually paying for (and why) when we spend thousands on a guitar (rhetorical question)

Some people don't "wonder" at all. Slash plays it so it MUST be good.

Confirmation Bias (IT'S AN AMERICAN FENDER, IT'S THE BEST! LOOKIT HOW MUCH IT COST! THE TONEZ!)

Bragging rights.

Peer Pressure

Companies charge what the market will bear. To name a few.

I wanted a gibby 335 because Larry Carlton plays one. So I know I was subject to the same nonsense. After reading up on the psychology of marketing and other psyche stuff, I realized I was barking up the wrong tree.

Now, it has to be visually appealing to me, first, and foremost. Why I bought the Fender Classic Player. That seafoam blue it was got me first. It didn't cost thousands, but the list price was out of my mental price range ($500). I was already checking out different pups for my Squier strat, and the Custom 69s made my short list. And I admitted I wanted the "Fender" logo on the headstock.

Still, the last coupla years here, I've been a huge advocate of "cheap" guitars. Some will need a little work. But a Standard Squier can be modded to sound like a Custom Shop. Those that claim otherwise, seem to refuse to take a blind sound test.
