Nothing wrong with that my friend. The silence is a part of music as the noise.

I enjoy that when my kids aren't around, lol - I am at work so I get to listen to tunes all day

That is the nerdiest thing I have ever heard anyone say about audio. And a friend of mine is studying to be a live and studio mixer.
