hubbards98 Just getting started
Default Hi Folks

Hi Guys, I'm Paul and glad to be apart of this forum. I am brand new to guitar and quite excited to keep learning. I am an Offshore Medic and whilst on the boat I found an electric guitar (Ibanez RG) and an amp (Laney LG35R) and I started playing with it (not quite wailing on it like Hendrix...yet)

For now I am practising and building up the calluses , I don't want to make too much noise because it is a 24 working vessel, but I can drag the amp out to the helicopter deck from time to time and go to town on it.

I am pretty excited because I just bought a new electric guitar Ltd Ed Les Paul Special II, I always wanted to learn and own a Les Paul, but I'm not made of money so when I found out that Epiphone makes an affordable one I started searching and finally found a new one from a music store in California. Can't wait to get home and try it out.

Anyways thanks for having me.

Welcome to the forum. You sound excited and that's good. I have a fondness for Epiphone! Good luck on your new journey.
