I've done that too. Come Together is one song I never could get the verses in the right order. Everybody Wants You used to give me fits too.

I'm in four different bands, partly because I sing and play various instruments. In some bands we exchange instruments when we play particular songs.

It's happend to me on a number of occasions. Not recently though! I just fake it & hit the trem arm!!!

LOL that's when the audience knows you've forgotten what to play! It's much better just to play the rhythm and have a bit of an interlude - Breaking the Law style - than just wang the arm or *shudder* hit 5th fret natural harmonics and then divebomb.

Do a pick scrape down the 5th or 6th strings. Then the whammy bar.
