I don't have one, but I do watch them. I don't watch shredders. I watch people like Johnny Smith, George Benson, Tuck Andress, Larry Carlton, Tal Farlow, Django Rhinehardt, etc.

Yep I started one a couple of years back as a way to try and give myself some confidence to play in front of people. Its been a big help, not only with stage fright but also with giving myself a reference point to re-learn songs as I forget them very quickly.

I do check out other YT guitarists to see if they have already done a cover of the song I am about to learn to give me an idea of where to start noodling around, but basically I play by ear, so my covers aren't always the most accurate. Close enough is good enough in my mind. I am certainly no shredder, but I have posted over 200 vids now (I try to do songs nobody else covers, or rarely get recorded) though I do do plenty of classic Aussie rock or old school stuff from the 70's.

I look forward to checking out your vids. Cheers
