i just put the fret numbers, but try this diminished sequence using all legato from the 6th string all the way down to the first until you can get it to warp speed cleanly....it'll help with other stretches along the fretboard where there's a similar degree of difficulty and make it a tad easier to hit those far notes......it sounds killer too once you get it down too

Maybe you should try playing the things that have wide stretches in a different position. I've seen people play something that worked them to death and I find it easy because I played the same thing in a different position. I've also seen people play something that I find difficult and they played it with ease because they hunted for an easy position and played it with two fingers.
