Default NLTD!!

Luthier tools day yaayyy...although im no luthier i can still tool up

Got this neck support caul today. I might look into getting an adjustable one, but this is pretty sturdy. Wood effect foam,

A leveling beam that ive already used on my tele. The frets on there are level, so i used this with the sandpaper they provided, and some files to buff out the some of them that were worn, and pitted. I rounded them off with a small file, but first run the beam across the entire neck. Although i could have polished the frets out more im not that worried as ill be refretting soon. Plays tons better.

Got delivered a notched rule as well.

Not sure about this file for recrowning as ive seen plenty use a small triangle file, of which i prefer to use myself. I have plenty of small files so ill give this a few trys before making my mind up on it.

I have a fret puller coming, and some radius blocks. I could have made the fret puller myself by grinding down a standard pliers, but that the thing with ordering online...one click.

Got a few more things to order like a fret press caul, and have to build a work bench in the 'studio' (box room lol) so got plenty to get on with. Once im happy i can do the work to a good standard ill move onto the electrics...thats the one haha.

Congrats on the tools and enthusiasm to go with them

Would you mind putting some taller frets in my PRS SE ZM? You know, after you practice a bit
