Default Buying a keyboard for Theory

Hi All,

I'm working on my music theory and want a small keyboard to use alongside my guitar for chords and notes. Are there any small ones out there that are built for this sort of thing, no frills and easy to transport.

Thanks,

Ste

Make sure you have the proper software to actually make a sound. There's lots of free stuff on the net.

I see entry level keyboards on Craigslist for about USA $ 70. We gig with entry level keyboards, they are more than sufficient for learning music theory.

Check the Goodwill or any other second hand stores. I picked up a perfectly good Yamaha PSR280 for 25.00. With stand and power supply.

I've been wondering the same thing. I have a basic workbook(from Alfred) I went through once & I'm going to get a new workbook real soon. I sort of wish I could've went to college for this but there's no guaranty it would pay off.
