Sweet guitar! I want one, in green, please. We'll expect a full report on it.

You're gonna love it. Since I have a single cut Projet, a good tip is that the Bigsby will not work very well if strung as delivered with the strings under the down tension bar. If you string over the bar altogether it will respond much better and there is not string skipping out of the saddles.

Couple of other things. The retainer spring on the TOM bridge will rattle a bit, put some clear nail polish on it to stop it. The polish simple breaks off if you need to intonate. The roller on the down tension bar will rattle too if not strung, a bit of polish on the ends stops that too.

I had one guitar and it was a Gretsch and I gigged with it for 30 years. Well, actually I still have it sitting in the case in the corner, but I gave it to my daughter a few years ago. I got it out and played it a little bit and the neck felt a little bit more chunky than I remembered. Mine was made in Brooklyn, NY, about 1967. It was a good guitar and if I were looking to add another guitar, I'd certainly look at the Gretsch guitars again, but it would have to have a faster neck than my old one.
