Any experiences with this amp?

A friend has one, I was surprised by the sound, thought it would be a bust, but it had a nice tone to it IMO. Good enough volume for a home practice amp.

I bought a used one about a year ago. I think I only paid about $120. I had it for a few days and returned it. It worked well enough but I just didn't love the tone.

Might be me, tho. I went through several small amps this last year before finally settling on the Katana.

What was exactly the problem?
What kind of music did you play?

I want to play some clean/reverb surf instrumental music and sometimes I use also some distortion.

THX!

It sounded pretty good in the store but when I got it home and started playing more, I just couldn't coax a tone out of it that I liked. Very subjective.
