I don't know that particular amp but I Googled it and it seems to sell in the $150 range? Just buy another one. How much are you spending on repairs?

Same problem every time, cutting out. $60 just to have them check it out. Tired of it.

Your tired of it, plus you can't depend on it, makes things unenjoyable. Time for a new amp.

What would you do, repair it again, replace it, or maybe get a good effects pedal
(which I know nothing about) for the Marshall. I don't know which way to turn.
What would I do?.
The musician side of me would want to keep it, but the tech side would question if it's worth putting more money into something with it already having ghosts in the machine.

Anything digital is eventually going to quit for good, its just a matter of time. One thing will lead to another.

At $60 just to look at it X's 3, that's $120 alone. Then there is the overall cost to repair it. I'm keeping in mind that this is over the 20 years since you've had it, which is not bad if it were an all tube amp based on general maintenance, but this is a DSP SS.

So, for me, I would part it out or keep the box and speaker for another use as an EXT cab and ditch the guts.

I would go with a new amp. It's not like that one has not served you well but the time has come.

I think that for the type of amp it is, you've fixed it enough. The technology has advanced greatly and most really great digital amps are affordable, some in the extreme.

My wife bought me a new Fender Mustang GT(digital) for CHRISTmas. Ooops, I'm not suppose to know that yet. I'll let ya know how I like it later.

The Fender Mustang GTs are nice amps. I'm watching the Fender video on them now.

So it works, then cuts out completely? No sound, then it comes back and while working, works good, then cuts out and zero sound again?
