An unimportant thing I don't understand is an oxymoron...

Why would one woman say a man is "awfully handsome"...

while another says he's "pretty ugly"??

I think thats kind of mean.

Why do I find it more satisfying to stop things with a number scale (like the gas pump or the tv volume) on numbers that are multiples of 5? Does anyone else do that? It's not uncontrollable or anything, nor is it a nuisance. I just find it curious.
