Good luck, it really is a good plan. Yep, I'm serious. I first did it back in 1976 under the very old, very difficult to maintain and follow system. There was a lot that was literally forbidden. If you wanted something salty and crunchy peanuts were forbidden, but you could salt and roast mushrooms. I swear! Then I joined in 2012, needing to lose at least 30 lbs. By now there was nothing you couldn't eat. Fast forward to 2017 after trying a few times and with intervening shoulder and lumbar surgery and getting fat again. This time I'm bound and determined to reach the goal I should have been at 5 years ago. I made a promise to the gods Thor and Hanuman that I would do it, and asked if they'd help me.

I did the low carb thing a couple years ago, dropped 30 lbs of fat in a few months, no effort, no hunger. Just the missing of carbs, which is hard at first, but being allowed cream, butter, etc, makes it not so bad.

Of course, this explains why I'm back on Weight Watchers.
