Default Chris Cornell Dead At 52

Chris Cornell of Soundgarden/Audioslave/Temple Of The Dog, has died while on tour at the age of 52.

RIP Mr. Cornell. There are some who didn't understand or get the Seattle movement, but I lived it and loved it. You don't see many great musical explosions anymore. What you and the rest of the Seattle bands did was inspiring to me as a young man. It made us all feel like we could just let it all hang out and bash away.

That's unbelievable. One of the very first songs I learned was Doesn't Remind Me.

He was an amazing singer but also a great songwriter.

Frankly, wasn't a fan of Sound Garden but I liked him better with Audioslave.

Any details on his death? Just curious. I was not a Soundgarden fan by any means, but Temple of the Dog was a fave. Now his raw acoustic stuff on Youtube really gets played a lot around the house. Such a raw voice, but awesome at the same time.

This is shocking!!! I thought he had an amazing voice...very unique and powerful. 52 is WAY too young. Spoon Man was a favorite of mine.

RIP

Sad, I hope his friends and family are ok. I remember playing a video game so many years ago. I think it was called road rash. The soundtrack was all Soundgarden. I thought it was great.

There was so much good music coming out of Seattle at that time. I never understood the difference between who makes it and who doesn't. Anyone ever hear of the Screaming Trees? They were one of the bands who didn't quite get the recognition others did. I thought they were right up there.
