why are you here?

there are many, many , guitar forums on the web , what makes you to keep coming back to this one?

for me its
1-friendliness
2-knowledge
3-variation
4-honesty

1- i have this forum to be a very friendly form, with members going to great lengths, to help solve a problem.
no cliques. and we try to respect each others feelings.

2-there is as much , if not more knowledge on this forum than most of the others.

3-topics are varied from the *saga of silim *to *how do i change a string.*and every one joins in.

4-everyone on this forum appears to give good honest opinions, when asked.

No one else will have me. Hey its the truth yo. I wont lie to you, its more because of the people, than the subject. Although the guitar essence is why i should be here, and in a way it is.

The place has........i dunno, quality.

Google sent me . . . and I never looked back. Never even bothered trying to find another guitar forum, perfectly happy here.

I'm not a huge poster but I lurk in the shadows soaking up all the knowledge. Also like hearing other peoples songs. One day I'll get around to uploading something of my own, and I know when I do I can expect good feedback from all the genuine peeps here

I am on it because of Jimmy Peters. Have you heard of him?

I like the fact that a bunch of pooping in their pants kids are not on the site like "Ultimate Guitar Jerks"! That site kills me. Sometimes, I post my songs there, just to see how bad they tell me that I suck, and they always do. The same guys have YouTube videos of them playing 3 chords completely out of tune and jumping up and down in their bedroom like Angus Young of AC/DC.

I will be honest. If I don't know anything about a certain subject, I am not going to chime in and say anything, period. I will just listen and learn. On some forums, 15 year old kids, think that they know everything about every subject on earth. They think that they must respond to each and every post. It drives me nuts!

Yeah, but this site has younsters too. These guys though, are way above they're years. They are informative, curtious, and respectfull. I get what you mean though. Usually they are Grunge heads, well they are with me anyway. They watch my You Tube clips and go, "Whoah, duuuuuuude, learn ta sing yeah". I say eff off, and they piss off.

I am here because I was looking for a forum where guitar and other things could be discussed. I was not looking for a forum where all everyone did was brag about how much cash they had invested in their rig, gear snobbery was rampant, and how they are so much better a musician than everyone else. I also was looking to avoid the whole " you don't have 10000 posts so we will ignore you / not take you seriously'" attitude. All that describes 95% of the guitar forums I checked out.
