Yeah, this seems pretty noob-ish. But I don't know what happened. It just doesn't work. It's connected onto my pedal board. And it won't work. Is there anyway to reset this thing or something? |

| Trial and error. First up, are you using a battery or an adapter? Next, what other stuff is in the chain, and is the guitar signal getting past the DS1 or stopping there? Have you tried switching cables around? If all else fails, drop it... ok, maybe not. |

Please forgive me if I'm being pedantic, but step one: Check your power supply. Step two: get your voltage meter an see if there's an output signal.

Try a different adapter than the one you're using on that pedal alone; unplug another pedal if necessary. If you have another power adapter, try that all by itself. Then maybe try a 9 volt battery. Could be the pedal itself; on one of my pedals, I have to stomp the pedal like crazy to turn it on or off. But try to rule out the adapter you're using, or the individual adapter itself. But you never really answered the question- your other pedals working? Just because you have some light on your board that may suggest the board is being powered, doesn't mean that power is reaching the pedals.

I did. I tried it for the one powering my pedal board. And the other one that I don't really use. None of them work. I reeeally don't want to turn to batteries.. I'm pretty sure it's the pedal itself. :/ Yep. All my other pedals are working just fine. |

You take the pedal apart recently? I know with a lot of pedals, if you don't line up the spring properly, you wont be able to engage the switch. Worse come to worse, it costs ~$40 to replace. Not bad for the greatest pedal Boss ever put out, imo.
