When playing acoustic, I'm almost always sitting down. When playing electric, I'm almost always standing. I do a lot of sitting while recording, though, but that's usually just during the experimenting stage. When it comes to the final takes, it usually depends on what I'm playing, and which way it is easiest to play accurately. Also depends on my mood and how much I've had to drink, ha ha. Generally speaking, I stand when I play electric.

A bit of both. Usually when I'm just messing around or writing songs, I sit. But if we have a show coming up, I practice standing up.

I usually practice sitting down because of my bum back. For some reason though, to really get into and feel what I'm playing, I do better when standing. I look at a pic of Joe to feel the sexiness, but I'm just strange that way.

When I gig these days I sit on on a guitar chair/stool. Raised back with a rung high enough so that my knee is in position to rest the guitar. Right foot is usually on the ground. The other buggers stand. As a senior I get sitting rights. Bought it off Ebay

I don't think that stool would support my fat ass!
