Very very nice.. excellent guitar playing , you did a great job .. I wished in the first one you would have had better lighting. Some very intense passages in their and you did them flawlessly. I wished I was at your level.. Oh well .. I'm determined and stubborn and very disciplined .. I might be 65 years old. but I'll get it. lol

M.S. is my favorite tune on DiMeola's album. I thought I had the beginning fingering correct, but apparently not. I'm always stunned at the speed in which flamenco players can play. Paco made me a fan of flamenco. Thanks for the tutorial!

kind of a side note on that.. I got to go see Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin and Paco in concert twice... I think the name of the tour was called Shakcnee or something like that. it was 81 or 82 .. been a long time.. I already had the Al Di Meola album Elegant Gypsy. I was completely blown away. imho I think Paco at times out shines the other two... on certain things. My favorite Al Di Meola tune is "Race With The Devil On A Spanish Highway" I started learning that when I was 20 .. I still don't play it note for note. lol Last edited by toastedgoat; 02-08-2010 at 05:20 PM. |

Of the 3 mentioned, goat, I've only seen McGlaughlin while with the Mahavishnu Orchestra. I'd love to see Paco though. He just blows me away. Unfortunate that most guitar players don't even know who Paco is, or dismiss flamenco.
