My grandma taught me how to thread a needle and patch a shirt. I ain't no tailor, but I can fix a hole right up.

And I can thread it pretty fast, too.

Actually, it looks like he's sliding into most notes, not fretting them. He's uses his 3rd finger on occasion. I'd be more impressed if he was actually doing a lot of fretting.

I can't find the Petrucci version, but Petrucci actually frets the notes. But, here's a cover of the Petrucci version. YouTube - Nightwolf - John Petrucci - Flight of the bumblebee (cover) vid is laggy, but it sounds like the version I learned. Even though it's very chromatic, it's a bitch.

I'm with Slim. I seen this a while back on YT and I think its slides and alt picking very fast. Tiago Della Vega is faster at fretting than that.

I was unclear. I meant I think he can do better because I heard another one of his songs somewhere else. IMO Batio can fret faster Vega.
And I didn't notice that lol. Maybe they're afraid someone will get jelous and shoot him.
